ZSE Group

Building institutions
that build economies.

Zitere Social Enterprise provides the strategy, governance, and accountability that help each venture grow with focus and long-term purpose. We do not just deliver projects. We build institutions.

Our work spans the sectors shaping Africa's future: enterprise development, financial services, workforce training, and impact advisory. From grassroots financial inclusion to institutional programme design, we work across the full value chain.

Through shared strategy, finance, governance, and brand support, ZSE gives each venture the structure to move faster, operate better, and deliver lasting impact.

Years of practice

Great economies are built when systems work together.

I

Capital & financial inclusion

Access to finance remains the most persistent barrier for African entrepreneurs. We build the systems, products, and knowledge pathways to close that gap — from micro-savings to investment readiness to institutional funding.

II

Talent & workforce development

Skills are the currency of sustainable growth. We train, place, and develop the human capital that organisations need to operate — from entry-level finance professionals to executive programme leaders.

III

Ecosystem & institution building

Individual businesses do not create economies — ecosystems do. We design programmes, partnerships, and policy frameworks that strengthen the infrastructure around enterprise development across the continent.

IV

Access to Market

We connect businesses to the buyers, distributors, and platforms they need to grow — helping partners move from producing good products to reaching the customers who need them.

V

ESG & Digital Innovation

We work with partners to embed sustainability and scale impact through technology. By designing digital platforms and AI-powered tools, we streamline enterprise development, financial inclusion, and workforce training. Our focus is on building resilient systems that align institutional governance with measurable social outcomes across Africa.

ZSE Group is the backbone — the shared strategy, governance, and accountability layer — that allows each of our ventures to grow with clarity and long-term vision. We don't build projects. We build institutions.

Our work sits at the intersection of the sectors that matter most to Africa's next chapter: enterprise development, financial services, workforce training, and impact advisory. We operate across the full value chain — from grassroots financial inclusion to high-value institutional programme design.

ZSE provides the shared infrastructure — strategy, governance, finance, and brand — that makes each entity faster, sharper, and more accountable than it could be alone.

Our portfolio

Three entities. One shared mission.

Each company operates independently day-to-day, aligned to a shared commitment: building sustainable businesses that create inclusive economic growth.

Work with us

Built for the partners who build Africa.

ZSE Group works with a focused set of institutional and commercial partners whose mandates align with ours. Here is where we create the most value together.

01

Donors, DFIs & Development Partners

We design, deliver, and evaluate programmes on behalf of bilateral donors, multilateral agencies, and development finance institutions. From programme concept through MEL framework to final reporting — with a track record that includes World Bank-funded national programmes, ITC/WTO engagements, and multi-country cohort delivery. We bring implementation rigour that institutional funders can trust.

02

Corporates & Financial Institutions

We deliver bespoke training, capacity building, and enterprise support for corporate clients and financial institutions whose teams need to operate better — and whose customers or beneficiaries need to grow. From foundation workplace skills to financial literacy for non-finance managers, our programmes are built for real contexts, not classrooms.

03

Governments & Policy Bodies

We partner with government agencies, ministries, and regulatory bodies to strengthen enterprise and workforce development ecosystems. Through research, policy advisory, programme co-design, and capacity building for public sector teams, we help government convert intent into measurable economic outcomes for the citizens they serve.

04

Ambitious Professionals & Practitioners

We invest in the next generation of African professionals through two structured pathways. Akkant Academy trains and places talent as professionals directly into businesses that need them. Our Graduate Trainee Scheme brings high-potential graduates into the ZSE ecosystem, developing them across enterprise support, programme delivery, and operations.

05

Entrepreneurs & Early-Stage Founders

If you are building a business and need more than advice — if you need structure, capital pathways, a network that opens doors, and a team that has done this before — ZSE Group and our entities exist for you.
